A work for vocal ensemble by Szilárd Mezei, a further chapter in the choral writing he had begun with Fújj szél, Zenta. Amerika szálló (Hotel America) sets Hungarian text for voices and instruments, weaving the folk material of his Vojvodina upbringing into large-scale contemporary composition — one of the more unusual and ambitious projects in his substantial body of work for the label.
