A duo recording uniting Alexander von Schlippenbach — the pioneering German pianist who founded the Globe Unity Orchestra and stands among the founding figures of European free jazz — with Norwegian percussionist Dag Magnus Narvesen. Released by Not Two in 2018 on vinyl, Interweaving documents a meeting across generations, the elder statesman's percussive, Monk-informed pianism in close dialogue with a younger drummer's responsive playing.
