About This Release
A trio led by Slovenian percussionist Zlatko Kaučič, among the most widely traveled improvisers of his generation, who spent years abroad playing alongside figures such as Steve Lacy before becoming a central force in his country's scene. Released by Not Two in 2013, December Soul presents him not as a sideman but as a leader, shaping a group around his coloristic, deeply musical approach to percussion.
