A trio recording uniting Belgian alto saxophonist André Goudbeek, Belgian bassist Peter Jacquemyn and the French percussionist Lê Quan Ninh, a renowned improviser known for his work on amplified bass drum. Released by Not Two in 2011, Uwaga brings together three strong voices of the European free-improvisation scene in a texturally rich, freely structured meeting.

Critical Reception
The defining performance on the Goudbeek/Jacquemyn/Ninh disc. It’s built up from the top with high-pitched, jittery split tones, plus emphasized growls, tongue flutters and hockets from the saxophonist; string smacks, scrubs and spiccato stretches from the bassist; plus cymbal rubs, clip-clops and drum top squeaks from the percussionist.
