A recording by violist-composer Szilárd Mezei, companion to his other Not Two releases of the period. Issued in 2009, Mint amikor tavasz turns to the Hungarian folk songs of Vojvodina — the tradition Mezei grew up with as a member of the region's Hungarian community — reworking that material through contemporary composition and improvisation rather than presenting it intact.
