An ambitious large-scale work by composer-pianist Leszek Kułakowski, scored for solo voice, jazz quintet and symphony orchestra and recorded in Słupsk during the 4th Komeda Jazz Festival, the international event Kułakowski founded. Eurofonia binds Kashubian folk melody to jazz and orchestral writing in the Third Stream manner that is Kułakowski's hallmark. It was voted Album of the Year in the readers' poll of the prestigious Jazz Forum magazine, among the most significant honors in Polish jazz, and remains one of the composer's defining statements.
