About This Release
An album by Disorder at the Border, the group of Italian reedman Daniele D'Agaro with bassist Giovanni Maier and Slovenian percussionist Zlatko Kaučič, here devoted to the music of Ornette Coleman. Released by Not Two in 2016, the album reinterprets Coleman's songbook through the trio's freely improvising sensibility, a tribute to one of free jazz's founding composers from three leading Central European improvisers.
