The first of three live documents of the Brötzmann / Steve Swell / Paal Nilssen-Love trio, recorded in Kraków. Released by Not Two in 2015, Kraków Nights captures a front line of two of free jazz's most powerful horn voices — Brötzmann's reeds and Swell's trombone — lashed forward by Nilssen-Love, among the most explosive drummers of his generation. A meeting of three traditions and three generations at full tilt.
