A live duo by Peter Brötzmann and drummer Jörg Fischer, captured in Wiesbaden. Released by Not Two in 2012, the album strips the music to saxophone and drums — the most exposed of settings for a player who, since the 1960s, helped define European free jazz with a tone of unmistakable ferocity tempered, increasingly, by a brooding lyricism.
