A live trio meeting between David Murray — one of the defining tenor saxophonists of his generation and a founding member of the World Saxophone Quartet — and the Oleś brothers, Marcin (bass) and Bartłomiej Brat Oleś (drums), recorded in 2003 at the Manggha Centre in Kraków during the Era Jazzu festival. With little rehearsal, the trio works through a program of Oleś-brothers originals plus pieces by Murray and Ornette Coleman, the American master clearly energized by what was billed as Poland's finest rhythm section. A vivid document of trans-Atlantic free-jazz dialogue caught in real time.
