A trio recording uniting bassist Joe Fonda — a widely traveled American improviser known for his association with Anthony Braxton — with drummer Harvey Sorgen and French pianist Christophe Roche. Released by Not Two in 2019, New Origin presents a freely interactive contemporary jazz trio bridging the American and European scenes.
