A trio meeting of three European improvisers: Ukrainian reed player Yuriy Yaremchuk, Ukrainian bassist Mark Tokar and German drummer Klaus Kugel. Released by Not Two in 2007, Yatoku reflects the label's strong engagement with the improvised-music scenes of Ukraine and its neighbours, bringing together players whose work bridges the jazz traditions of East and West.
