A duo recording by two pioneers of the guitar in creative music: Elliott Sharp — a central figure of the New York downtown scene, equally at home in avant-garde composition, blues and electronics — and Scott Fields, an American guitarist-composer long based in Europe. Released by Not Two in 2013, Ostryepolya pairs two highly individual instrumental voices in an exploratory meeting of extended technique and structural invention.
