A vinyl release by Swedish Azz, the group co-led by Mats Gustafsson and Per-Åke Holmlander, devoted to reimagining the classics of 1950s and '60s Swedish jazz through contemporary free improvisation. The playfully titled Merry Azzmas extends the band's loving, irreverent engagement with its national jazz heritage, part of a series of Swedish Azz titles in the Not Two catalog.
