A quintet recording led by percussionist Arek Skolik under the Checkmate banner, a continuation of his project documented on earlier Not Two releases. Issued in 2002, the album presents Skolik's contemporary post-bop writing for a working five-piece band, with the core quintet augmented on individual tracks by guest accordion, bells, and voice.
