My Lullaby

A vocal album led by singer Agnieszka Skrzypek, featuring a notable ensemble that includes veteran saxophonist Tomasz Szukalski, pianist Michał Tokaj, and Los Angeles–based Polish bassist Darek 'Oles' Oleszkiewicz. Released by Not Two in 2002, the session pairs an emerging vocalist with seasoned instrumentalists drawn from both the Polish and international scenes, creating a setting that highlights her early artistic voice. Skrzypek — today known professionally as Aga Zaryan — has since become one of Poland’s most acclaimed jazz vocalists, songwriters, and producers. Celebrated for her warm, smoky timbre and intimate phrasing, she later made history as the first Polish artist to sign with the prestigious Blue Note Records, cementing her place on the global jazz stage.
