“Fly” aligns with the early‑2000s resurgence of jazz‑fusion on the world stage, a period when musicians were folding electronics, programmed beats, and digital textures back into improvisation with a new sense of openness. The Oh Group taps directly into that atmosphere. Led by keyboardist and programmer Tadeusz Leśniak, the core quartet—Ryszard Krawczuk on soprano and alto saxophones, Wojtek Bobrowski on bass, and Tomek Dominik on drums—moves between groove‑driven passages, atmospheric electronics, and melodic improvisation in a way that echoes the broader global shift toward hybrid, electronically inflected jazz.
